(Pamela) Suzette Roberts, LMFT - Owner & Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
With over 20 years of experience in the field of mental health, Suzette is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and the owner of Awareness Center for Counseling. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Simpson College and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from National University.
Suzette specializes in working with individuals and couples facing anxiety, trauma, and relationship challenges. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), both highly effective, evidence-based approaches for trauma recovery.
In her work with couples, Suzette helps partners strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and deepen emotional connection. She brings a calm, nonjudgmental presence that supports each partner in feeling heard and understood, creating a foundation for healing and growth.

Tia Thomas, LCSW
Tia is an LCSW in Idaho. She is known for her compassionate approach and dedication to improving the mental health and well-being of everyone across their lifespan.
Tia earned her MSW degree from Walla Walla College in 1998. She developed a foundational understanding of mental health theories and practices. In her training, it emphasized the importance of evidence-based modalities.
With a specialization in working with children, teenagers, and adults, Tia has made it her mission to provide effective and empathetic therapy to those struggling with various mental health issues. Tia is particularly passionate about empowering young individuals by helping them with coping mechanisms, creating new skills, and being resilient during the critical developmental stages of their lives.
She pursued advanced certifications in CBT, DBT, and person-centered therapy. These therapeutic techniques form the cornerstones of her practice, allowing her to take her approach to meet the unique needs of each individual.
Throughout her career, she has worked in a variety of different settings, including schools, community mental health centers, hospitals, and private practices. Her extensive experience enables her to navigate the complexities of mental health challenges many individuals face on a day-to-day basis. Providing, guidance and support to individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and interpersonal conflicts. She firmly believes that everyone, no matter their age deserves access to quality care. She strives to create a safe space and a supportive environment for her clients.
Trina Lambson, LCSW
Trina is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Idaho. She believes that by working collaboratively, each client will learn to explore cognitive, emotional, and behavioral patterns by further developing their inner strengths and resources, and making transformative choices, all in a welcoming and judgment-free atmosphere.
Trina is particularly passionate about working with teens, young adults, and adults by using solution-focused therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and crisis management in hopes of building individual insight, support, and improving self-esteem.
Brianne Larson, MSW
Brianne is an LMSW and has been counseling in Blackfoot since 2016. She loves, to work with children and teens, but enjoys all ages. She likes to utilize a mixture of therapies that focus on a client-led approach. She is certified in Adlerian Psychology and has a degree in Child and Adolescent Development and Behavior. On her time off, she loves to spend time with her three kids and two dogs. You may find them scuba diving (not the dogs), kayaking, or relaxing at home.

Andrea King – Administrative Assistant
Andrea serves as the Administrative Assistant for our team, providing essential support to both clients and counselors. She manages scheduling, coordinates communication, and ensures that every client interaction is met with warmth and professionalism. Andrea holds an Associate of Arts in Recording Arts from the Los Angeles Recording School and a Bachelor of Arts in English with an emphasis in Professional Writing from Idaho State University. She is passionate about bringing kindness and care into her work, helping clients feel comfortable, valued, and supported from the moment they reach out.
